Hey Saints,
Several parents have inquired about our practice plans this Sunday -- which happens to be Easter. We don't want to upstage the Easter Bunny, so no practice Easter Sunday.
Our next practice is at 5 p.m. on Thursday at Tobey Field, weather permitting.
On Thursdays we must share the field with the other 1st/2nd Grade team. The field is big enough for us to have our own practice, but this week the Hubermen want to scrimmage against us. So we'll oblige them. It'll be a good opportunity to assess our progress very early in the season. The Hubermen are a well-coached, talented bunch of players, so get your minds right and show up ready to play hard!
(Unfortunately, rain appears to be in the forecast for Thursday, so stay tuned. If we get rained out, I'll let you know ASAP.)

P.S. - It's a good idea to wear baseball pants or sweat pants to practice because we'll often be practicing baserunning -- including sliding. If you are really adept at sliding, you can probably get away with wearing shorts. However, if you are less experienced, it's highly recommended that you wear trousers of some sort....
